It is no secret to anybody that trains with us that our personal passion lies in the German Shepherd Dog. German Shepherds display extraordinary dynamics in their ability to work with man as companions, protectors, and skilled service-providers. They possess an uncanny ability to read the world and, in it, tactfully play a much-needed and valued role.

In our experience, many of the cases of aggression in dogs we see are not only a product of lack of training but also poor breeding practices. The United States lacks a governing body to control the quality of dogs bred and placed in families’ homes. This often results in those professionally unqualified to evaluate dogs breeding to meet standards of only conformation or often no standards at all.

We have had excellent experience with German Shepherds imported from Germany where there are higher standards of breeding to ensure high-quality dogs. These higher standards include all aspects of the German Shepherd Dog: mental capability, structure, temperament, and disposition. These dogs have the temperament to work in areas of Personal Protection, Search & Rescue, Narcotics Detection, and Schutzhund, and yet still interact naturally as family pets.
